Mbaise Art and Culture Festival 2024
The Mbaise Art and Culture Festival – MACFEST would be our third annual event but with a touch of innovation in art and culture carnival. It will be hosting about 5,000 guests and over 20 performing groups at the finale.
MACFEST will be an annual event that brings together artists and creatives including drummers, singers, dancers and performers to compete at various stages in three Local Government Areas (Aboh Mbaise, Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte Mbaise).
The event will feature masquerade competition, women folklore dance, art displays, literary engagements, Football and other creative activities.

To craft an exciting and wide-ranging festival that celebrates the rich tradition, art and culture in Mbaise Land while bonding people during the Yule tide period.

Chioma Ajunwa Sports Complex, Nkwogwu, Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria. Proposed date is 24th December 2024
Side Attractions
MACFEST will feature side attractions like photo booths, bouncing castle and game corner for children.
Goal/Expected Outcome
Mbaise Art and Culture Festival will be a melting pot for families, friends, tourists, businesses to engage with stakeholders. It will be a de facto annual event for residents and people visiting home to celebrate the Yule tide season in a fun and secured atmosphere with lasting memories.
Showcase well-known and emerging local, international artists across various niche (visual arts, music, dance, theatre, film, literature etc).
Foster a sense of community and cultural appreciation.
