Mbaise Top Seed Club carried out a lot of enlightenment programs in Mbaise to help curtail the spread of COVID 19. Below are just a few details.
- As part of our corporate social responsibility and community development efforts in Mbaise. We have increased our COVID-19 awareness among the citizenry, by strategically creating awareness about the Corona Virus Pandemic using billboards, social media and public broadcast media. People entering and leaving Mbaise can be easily remind to protect themselves as they read the large format texts. This billboard is located at the boundary between (Mbaise) Enyiogugu and Azaraegbelu near the Heartland Radio Station. We urge our citizens especially Mbaise community to observe basic hygiene in order to stay safe.. Stay safe! - Mbaise Top Seed Club’s community palliative continued with a visit to Umuagwu Obetiti in Aboh Mbaise. The event which was held on Sunday June 7, 2020 was sponsored by Dr. Collins Ugochukwu and Emeka Ogu. Tony Awusaku, the Project Manager led the team to the event where over 50 indigent women and men received N5,000 cash to help support them during the pandemic lockdown. Activities were streamed live by the Assistant Secretary, Emeka Ulor, to enable members around the world follow the proceeding. #mbaisetopseed #mbaise #topseedpalliative #covid19 #coronavirus #lockdown
- As part of our goal to support indigent members of our community, Mbaise Top Seed Club and its members have been giving out palliatives in various localities in Mbaise. On the 11th of April 2020 Mr and Mrs Emeka Onyeokoro, Chairman Board of Trustees, donated bags of rice and N3,000 palliatives for all the women in Umuabada community (about 40 women). Also on 25th April 2020, the ONYEOKORO family distributed cash palliatives to indigent members of Umuabada Kindred. Both communities are located in Oborji Ibeku, Aboh Mbaise.
